Telenor Pakistan has made headlines once again. This time it is for bagging two international architecture awards for its headquarters building called 345. This beautiful building has won two architectural awards recently. These are
2A Continental Architectural Award 2018 (category Commercial Office & Business Asia)
World Architecture Community Award 2018 (category Realized)
HQ of Telenor Pakistan was among the 18 architectural marvels that were shortlisted in the category of ‘completed office building ’. These buildings competed against each other in Amsterdam at a recently concluded World Architectural Festival.
345, the HQ of Telenor Pakistan won the first prize in 2A Continental Architectural Awards ceremony that was organized in Barcelona, Spain. The other international award, called The World Architecture Community Award is given to the best buildings and commercial projects taking place across the world.

345 is a marvel of green architecture as it has been constructed using rammed earth. This building covers an area of 15.5 acres and it makes use of rainwater harvesting and recycling to have its own unique water conservation system. The building uses 230 KW of solar energy through its energy mechanism based on renewable energy source. The headquarters have been made very energy efficient with the help of occupancy sensors, thermal insulation. LED lights, and active chilled beams. It is a huge workspace meant for more than 1300 employees. It contains 80 multi-rooms, 32 meeting rooms, and 20 project rooms.

Talking about amenities, 345 has a fitness center, badminton courts, a library, daycare center, a jogging track, startup garage, a cafeteria, retiring rooms, zones for socializing and exploration, customer integration lab, gaming zones, and a wonderful coffee shop. The building has enough parking spaces for more than 500 automobiles. You will find kitchen spaces on every floor and also a pit stop for various services for the employees.

Continental Architectural Awards are organized by 2A Architecture & Art Magazine every year. They are aimed at recognizing and honoring the efforts of the individuals and the companies in the field of architecture. These awards give recognition to buildings and projects that have the potential to influence the architectural practices around the world. World Architecture Community Awards
Known as simply WA, the World Architecture Community Awards are highly respected and much coveted around the world. Taking part in this competition gives a much needed platform to companies and builders to showcase their talent in front of the world.
