DEALING WITH CHRONIC PAIN AND BAD MOODS
Music that cheers me up
So, as a ftm who has existent and annoying dysphoria and anxiety, it's very hard to hear some of my 'friends' calling me she and her and my deadname. I understand it does take time but with the fact it's been existent for about 2-3 months and my friend still hasn't caught onto the fact I prefer and want her to use male pronouns and call me Conner; it does get a bit annoying and frustrating when I want to correct her. But anyways, I have many songs that do cheer me up and I'd like to share them :> So, I got my name from the musical DEH (Dear Evan Hansen) and I didn't realize "Connor" was spelled the way it was lol. Anyways, if I'm in the mood to be goofy and imagine myself with a deep voice, I always play Sincerely, Me or if I want to feel confident in expressing to my mom and dad how badly I want and need them to call me their son; then I play For Forever. But if I'm in the mood to feel like I'm meeting the love of my life and fully transitioned; then I play "Helpless but low pitch/male voice - Lams - Mush Roomie. I hope if you're just in a bad mood or are in the mood for these songs that these help!
Do you ever just get in a mood that you are literally just tired of people speaking to you?
Bad moods don't make good decisions. Never make a decision when you're in one. Wait till you feel better and then decide.
