Helloooo, I was wondering if you have any ways to cope with jealousy? i've been suffering from crippling jealousy and it's ruining my relationship and destroying my self confidence. I never used to be like this but I get angry and frustrated when my boyfriend gets any female attention (I also feel ashamed for admitting this all). I feel like I'm not good enough for him and he's become a platform in which my insecurities manifest themselves. I don't know how to get better.

Please don’t be embarrassed, it’s really good and self-aware of you to notice this and realize that it’s not healthy for you. You are totally good enough and I recommend you communicate these anxieties with him. Talking with him about it will probably ease many of your worries. I also recommend you check out this post about non-judgemental thinking through DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy).  Practicing non-judgmental thinking can help you to be mindful and prevent you from jumping to conclusions.

that’s closer, but still pretty far off.

Caoilfhinn is pronounced KEE-lyn. the i after the cao makes an eeee sound in Irish. and the h after the f makes the f silent.

i’m trying to think of more Irish names that would be hard for non-Irish people to pronounce. like Caoimhe and Éibhín and Dearbháil and Feidhlim.

Borderlands 2 session?

Anybody wanna play Borderlands 2 with me on Saturday (Jan 2)? I play on Steam/PC. I’m pretty early on in the game - just before Sanctuary, I think? - and still learning, so if you don’t mind hauling my ass through Pandora, I’d love to play with you guys! ;)

Since @archerofanarchy was nice enough to stay up ungodly late to play with me last time, I’m gonna schedule this one for a time that’s more Europe-friendly. For me, it’ll start at 5am CST and will go until about 8am (which is when my son usually wakes up… we might need to end a little earlier if he wakes up early). Any takers?

(ETA: Sunday at the same time would be okay with me too, if that's better for more people)

omgosh default fem!Hawke looks completely different in the trailer than she does in DA2 D: it'll be weird seeing my dalish elf with huge pointy ears if i get to have her imported :3

I just saw a post from a Bioware developer where he states that you can't change the looks via the Keep. Obviously you can import the look but can't change it. Well I only hope they don't mess up the imports like it happened in Mass Effect 3 *still not over that my Shepard looked like a completely different person*
