omg first time shyness is a fun one. according to my notes i wrote it as a continuation of the billiards fic but it can stand alone. the gist of it is a lot of 0 to 60 to 0 and back to 60, where kit gets suddenly self-conscious and her companion, despite his initial involuntary laughter, talks her back up with the truth and, well, activities ensue.

as for accidental roommates redux, a lot of the goodness of this fic got absorbed by the car crash fic, and i'm stealing quite a bit of the other good dialogue and scenarios to use later in the s4 AU. it's so so so good. i wish i had the stamina to write a hundred accidental roommate AUs but alas. too many scenes, not enough plot. in this WIP there are scenes that involve new high-heels, red wine with fish because life's too short for lukewarm white wine, and the fixing of a leaky faucet; it's just domestic cuteness and, according to my notes:
