I kept my expectations low and I liked it so much 😭

Well, I had high expectations and I was not disappointed.

Just a few thoughts, cause I'm slowly waking up 😁

Damn, Taeyang still got it. That man is so fine. So fine.

Now that I got that out of the way, the song. First watching the music video, I was too focused so I couldn't actually grasp it or have an opinion, but after I got it on loop on my Spotify, I can say it gets catchy after 2-3 times. It's some combination of R&B, funk (I'm not an expert in genres), but it's hot. Exactly what I wanted.

Taeyang and Jimin really do make a good pair. Their parts were evenly distributed and managed to highlight exactly their own distinct style. In terms of singing, presence, vibe 😅.

The music video is perhaps too bland and simple for me. They could have done more in that department, but it's not something that can actually drag down the song.

The choreography can be easily turn into a trend. Perhaps it really is connected to Taeyang opening a tiktok account. I wouldn't be surprised if they promote the song like that as well. I hope both of them go to music shows. Jimin has a significant part in the song, so it would be weird only for Taeyang to sing on his own on a stage. But we'll see.

All in all, I'm happy to see Jimin doing something outside BTS/BH. And it shows how he has his own distinct style. He wasn't shadowed by Taeyang, nor did he come too strong to take over the main artist. It was the perfect balance and I think that was possible because he got his own recognizable thing. Same for Taeyang.

Jimin with his signature move. Of course he had to do it. Love to see it.

On a last note, I saw some translations of Taeyang's live countdown and when he talked about the collab, he called him Jiminie 😍

I'm here for Baemin though. Let's hope both of them could do some joint promotions. At least one joint interview. One...
