HALLOWEEN STARTER for @baeyejun​ .

tranquility engulfed him, as clement came awake from his overnight slumber. the man wasn’t so much of a morning person and if it wasn’t for his current situation, there would be no hesitation for him to fall back asleep. the light pressure that was weighing on him currently and physically, along with the familiar warmth pressed against his skin, they could only make him feel grateful to have awaken before the other. after all, being able to catch the peaceful sight of the sleeping man near him, it was and always will be clement’s favorite part of his day.

briefly after taking in the sight, clement began brushing his knuckles lightly over the side of yejun’s face. an urge he couldn’t easily rid of, as they sunk on his cheek, following was the fond smile forming across his own face. he wanted to so badly smother the other with kisses, but to his own dismay of not wanting to disturb his sleep, clement made a mental note to do so after he had joined him for breakfast ( or in their case now, brunch ).

a sigh, as the man now wrapped his arms around the smaller figure of his companion. face nuzzling in the crown of his head, he planted a kiss there before pulling away just a slight to look over at the clock. his eyes squinted to make clear of the information, to which he responded upon taking it in with a soft groan in displeased. 11am, fuck.

“ yejun? ” he started, voice a little bit hoarse and strained from the lack of warming up. an arm of his remained around yejun, rubbing his side gently as he raised his other hand to push back strands of the sleeping man’s hair, pressing his lips on his forehead afterwards, he called out his name once more. “ yejun? it’s time to wake up. ”

the warm baked good that fell apart as soon as he sank his teeth into it, smooth and fluffy were the texture. and the flavor, sweet with a hint of savory, flooded his palate the more that he chewed on the pieces. it was a matter of fact clement couldn’t deny as so for there was nothing that could beat bae yejun’s breads in comparison to what could fully satisfy his appetite, knowing himself well enough that he was a very picky eater. and that, topped with the breads being fresh out the oven, clement could declare then, although not openly by himself, enjoying these fresh goods right now felt like what he imagined heaven was.

that day itself wasn’t much of a particular one, rather it was just as the usual. the man was out and about and when asked upon, no, he wasn’t neglecting his duties. but more to so, there was nothing of the tasks he received were important enough to require his personal attendance, and sending over his members could accomplish just as much as it was expected from him.

and that concluded his current situation. uninvited and now sitting at yejun’s kitchen counter, clement savored all the breads that he firstly deemed delicious through their visuals and unsurprisingly, the list consisted of all that was on display.

the house was quiet, saved for only the sounds coming from the kitchen where clement could see yejun busying himself with all his baking chores. he had been there for what it felt like hours and other than the baker approaching him to place more breads on the counter, there was no interaction between them. at this point, the guest with his presence left unnoticed or more precisely, ignored, was feeling slightly irritated.

“ you know, yejun. ” he started, breaking the silence, his hand reaching for yet another bread. “ with how obsessed you are with baking, you might as well just marry the breads. ”
