Bagel Bread! Mike found this intriguing recipe in an old edition of Cooks Country and passed it on to me. I actually baked it in my convection toaster oven. 😄 Appearance-wise, it came out variable, (see 2nd picture), which I guess shouldn’t be unexpected, since you have to juggle a whole loaf of bread in and out of boiling water, but the taste is surprisingly just like a pretty good bagel 🥯!
