About Akira I did find some comments from cn side speculating that he left back in 2024, since MDU and espuri were revealed to be conceptualised in 2022ish in 10th anni interviews, and were meant to be released together for 9th anni. However, due to management conflicts and possibly Akira leaving, only espuri got released in the end. Plus some speculate that Akira's final work before leaving might actually be MDU first event... which does make MDU a child of divorce if you think about it.
I wonder what the original plan had been... we'll never know but i wish to have been a fly on that wall during those meetings... er, a fly that understands japanese, also.
