19. what artist did you know about before they got big?

maggie rogers!! i don’t know when exactly she got really popular, but i first listened to her music in early 2017 and at that point hardly anyone knew who she was! probably the one and only time i will ever be ahead of the curve with music lmao

Oh it is ridiculous. I deserved a test back in March. And recuperating at home should not have been a forced treatment. I don’t even blame the actual healthcare system. It’s the united states federal govt. They are literal murderers.

Yes! I personally would not have said no to Vanessa and Catriona Hartdegen (who I think was woefully underutilized!), and there absolutely would have been literary precedent/reason for Carmilla, the original/first Dracula?! I have to say though, if we couldn’t have all of that, I really also would have been fine with them just, like, letting Vanessa finally be with Ethan, not least because they’re one of those het couples who kind of feel like a w/w couple because the man in the pairing isn’t terrible? (See also: Philip and Elizabeth Jennings of The Americans (2013 - 2018) and Romeo and Juliet of Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 adaptation of Romeo + Juliet.)

how did you find out about them/her

They were on a video my sister and I watched about the best female kpop dancers. My sister looked them up and told me about Hwasa being known for being bigger than the average kpop woman. Than I watched “Hit” and I just loved the song and the outfits and even the backup dancers in the live performance I saw.
