Basically how Bai Lian came into Erlang Shen's life

Hey I had to introduce yall to her somehow *shrug*

got bored to draw midway through but have some Bai Lian doodles + HC's!

extra hc's i didnt wanna draw:

• used to live in a monastery at the edges of the tibetan and tang empire's borders,which was then destroyed by yaoguais causing her to flee :(

• despite being raised buddhist,Bai Lian is non vegetarian (mainly since from what i heard tibetan buddhism allows non vegetarianism + health issues she had as a mortal which required her to need meat)

• was born about the same time as Liu Chenxiang,if not a few years older (idk i havent finalized it yet)

• was probably ~6-10 years(?) old when Erlang Shen had found her and taken her in

• Had no real reason to,just found her very peculiar

• Given his duties,he had left her under the care of his housekeepers,whom she quickly became attached to

• Bai Lian became the name she is most often referred to,given to her as a nickname by one of the housekeeping servants. Dawa Sangmo being her real name

• Similar to Erlang shen,she finds shape-shifting into the opposite gender fun (+ given the ye olden day's misogyny,it gave her more freedom)

• would not be suprised if Wukong ever babysat her,if only at least once

• Bai is allergic to sea food

• had a 'i wanna be normal' phase where she had her hair dyed black (emo 💔)

Yea this is all i got for now,I have more,but it'd be no fun to share it all at once :3
