the youngest of seven children (yikes).

he was definitely the accident baby of the family, but a very welcomed one as he’s been coddled by his mother from day one.

he was pushed around by his older siblings growing up, totally due to the fact he embodied the annoying baby brother role. he’s always been closest to maverick however, mainly due to being the closest in age and bonding over being harassed by their oldest brother.

he was the only one in the family to go state school instead of boarding school

which was all fun and games until mars would be the only siblings left at home during school

he replaced the sudden loss of all of his siblings at home with talking to anyone who would spare him a moment of attention at school

he was friends with everyone: students and teachers

despite all of these friends, lottie burke was always his partner in crime

what started as an awkward meet up thanks to their older brothers being best friends bloomed into a beautiful friendship

even had a girlfriend for a little bit

a little bit being almost four years, an apartment, and a cat before their relationship finally went under and he was kicked out of his own apartment 

moving back into his family home was odd, with all of his siblings out in the world it reminded him of being in grade school. 

he dropped out of school after this too, deciding maybe the english degree and writer dreams he was pursuing wasn’t what he really wanted anymore.

the only person that really helped him through that funk was lottie.

Biography  TW Child Abandonment, Abuse, and Mental Illness ** ** I just want to clarify these won’t be things that come up almost at all unless directly asked, it’s just an understanding to why and how he is who he is today. 

x (Abandonment TW) When he was six years old his parents told him they would be going to the zoo as a family outing. This was the first time they had taken him anywhere and he was truly excited. At the end of the day they told him to sit tight, they were going to go buy him a stuffed animal to commemorate the trip. As he waited minutes turned to hours as he waited. It wasn’t until the zoo was closing that someone approached him to ask where his parents were. They looked together only to learn that they had abandoned him. (Abandonment TW END) x (Abuse/Mental Illness TW) Dallas was instantly put into foster care only to bounce around from family to family each one seeming more worse than the other. Families who only used him for the money they received from foster care, families treating him like he didn’t exist and like he was a burden. Every now and then he’d get a nice family. But by then Dallas had become jaded, the trauma of his childhood leading to him having Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED) and most families not knowing how to deal with it or wanting to even look into it. (Abuse/Mental Illness TW END) x It wasn’t until he was 15/16 that he was getting a routine check up at a local doctor that he met Andrew Reilly. A surgeon who stepped in as a doctor for the day. They hit it off rather well and that’s when Andrew decided to adopt Dallas.  x After that Dallas has gotten the treatment he needed, and the true family he needed all along. He stayed with them until he came of age and applied to Bainbridge University.

When Callum was three, his mother passed away, leaving him alone with his father; a man who already had less than desirable traits when it came to their family. He had kept Callum’s mother from barely interacting with her side of the family, essentially isolating them, and had shown little kindness as the years passed by. Once his mother was out of the picture however, things quickly grew worse. Callum began to be used, and sold. He was kept mostly confined to his room with little forms of entertainment.  Years passed before Callum managed to escape, but once he did he never looked back. He focused on finding his mother’s side of the family with the little information he knew of them. After spending several months on the road, homeless, and determined, he finally found one of his uncles in Oregon, USA.  His uncle, Andrew Reilly, hadn’t even known of his existence which caused a rocky start to their relationship but once Callum had proved who he was to him he quickly was welcomed to the family and taken care of from there on out.  *Due to his trauma, Callum has developed C-PTSD.

she was born in perth, australia! yet naomi spent her childhood around the world.

her father was professional surfer and her mother was an arts journalist.

as she got older, she started staying back in perth with her paternal grandparents when her parents went on trips for their careers.

looking back at it now, boarding school was only fun when she was actually there. she was the upper middle class girl rubbing elbow with her large friend group of millionarie friends

Theo comes from a filthy rich family and she has one older brother s/o to archie! He’s pretty much all she had growing up !

Her parents were total show parent types, pushing them to be the best in everything they did. Theo definitely internalized that message and it’s like all she knows! She has always been super competitive academically. Like not personally, she’s not too concerned with being against others all the time, in fact she enjoys learning from others, but she’s been pushed so much into being the best bc shitty parents that she doesn’t know how to not compete. It’s just what she knows

They’re also awful and abusive! and for the entirety of Theo’s life, she’s been living almost exclusively in appeasing them and for her brother. In that sense, she has never really been her own person. Always instead trying to fit what others needed her to be: textbook golden child, perfect student,

Studied chem for years because she excelled in the sciences but her heart wasn’t in it!! Now she’s studying history bc after the stuff I’ll explain later she was just like ??? Fuck it I want to just do something fun and i think i like history? well turns out she LOVES it and feels alive kinda

Definitely was involved with the party scenes before this last year, although she’s not the biggest drinker or user of recreational substances.

A couple years ago, Theo started developing really terrible anxiety, as well as being constantly exhausted, achy, and physically ill. It all kind of threw her into a rly dark place (like at its worst she was definitely pretty disconnected from reality) and at the end of the year prior to the last, she had a really bad meltdown that landed her in the hospital and she ended up spending the whole following year in and in medical facilities and she EVENTUALLY was diagnosed with POTS on top of severe anxiety and depression :/ this was thanks to archie’s persistence in getting a correct diagnosis after so long of dismissal from doctors and from their parents because he’s the realest and he understands what its like :( so bby is sick and tired but trying her best. Also her parents just think she has to get over it but that’s not how this works luvs

This year she’s just trying to find some semblance of normalcy but it’s hard to keep up and act normally! There’s v little energy but she’s TRYING. Also she’s just..,.,  trying to figure out who she is? In the last year she kind of discovered that she was her own person and what happened in her life has been trauma after trauma and she’s trying to figure out who she is! It’s hard because she’s also still trying to please people and be what people need her to be but hey thats what therapy is for.

She’s just trying her best. Probably spending a lot of time studying because she’s a nerd and actually finding personal gratification in her studies now!

Side note she really finds linguistics fascinating and like still a bit of a chem nerd bc she identified with it and thats a mess

Welcome to Brighton, SOLEIL MARCHAND ! HE has lived here for 2 YEARS and works as an ARTIST. They are known for being OPENMINDED, CREATIVE, STUBBORN, and NARCISSISTIC.

A self-professed dreamer and lover, Soleil was raised with an open heart and an open mind. His father, a museum curator, and his mother, a painter, raised him to value love over everything. He was raised in Marseille, taught to speak English almost as fluently as he speaks French, and valued adventure and independence from a young age.

His passion for art was evident from a young age; he spent much of his time in his mother’s studio, watching and mimicking what she did. A young Soleil was frequently found with paint on his clothes, his hands, his face - anywhere paint could’ve been, it was. Luckily, his parents nurtured that love for art, and Soleil continued to devote himself to his craft, honing it as he grew.

He prefers to paint with acrylics, and his two preferred subjects are skyscapes - mostly clouds at sunset or sunrise - and nude portraiture. He tends to lose track of time while he’s painting, classical music playing around the small apartment he’s dedicated to his studio space.

With his art, he grew up reading about painters of the past. He studied their work, adored knowing that this passion was one that anyone and everyone could have and nurture. Denis, Monet, and Sisley are among his favorites.

Soleil’s name matches his personality - he’s a people pleaser, and many say he lights up a room when he enters. He’s the type to want to please everyone and anyone, and he’s incredibly loyal to his friends. If you get on his bad side, though, he’ll hold a grudge like no other.

His art is his pride and joy, and he loves to share it with the world. He fears irrelevancy - fears that, when he dies, his name won’t live outside of his parents’ legacy. He wants for nothing but adoration - and from that adoration, love. He also fears dying unloved. While he’s very open about his sexuality, and the type to sleep around, he does dream about settling down someday.

Raised on world travel, Soleil still keeps in frequent contact with his parents; he loves them and is grateful for everything they’ve given him, and every opportunity he has. One of his favorite paintings of his own is still hanging above the fireplace in the foyer in their home.

He thrives off of praise, appreciates both platonic and romantic cuddling, and, to this day, can still be found with paint on his skin and clothes daily.

He’s drawn to other artists, dreamers, and, frequently, those older than him with stories to share.

BIO OF SORTS.

6 am on a rainy british morning, a beautiful bouncing baby boy was born. he came out screaming, but calmed as soon as he felt the warm embrace of his mother. 

he was given the very unfitting name montgomery breyer holmes. though, his grandad started calling him monty before he was a week old. stating that the name “montgomery” was a long name to give a child. 

he was a child prodigy, learning how to play the piano at age six and the violin at age seven. he read more than he spoke, the words on the paper seeming much more comforting than anything that came out of his mouth.

he was a quiet child. aggressively quiet. he didn’t really like making friends, but not because he disliked people but because talking just felt like a chore.

after years of private schooling, monty decided it would be best to stay in cambridge for uni. he’d always admired history and the whole aspect of learning the things that went on in the past. he wanted to teach, but his biggest challenge was his crippling anxiety. 

in gradschool, he met the love of his life. sona seemed to be everything that monty ever needed. she helped him get out of his shell and ultimately helped him realize who he was. 

he saw the future when he looked at her. her kisses made him smile and her touch made him feel alive. she taught him how to properly love. 

they were together for years. they were living together. they were engaged ( and even had a dog ) , but then sona dropped their engagement. he respected her decision to go and live her life, but the aspect of the break-up destroyed him. 

when she left, he took all of his things ( including their dog, apollo ) and moved. he settled in brighton, taking odd and in jobs until ultimately meeting angel a year later. they hit it off, her smile leaving him smitten. nothing was serious, not really even romantic. while sona helped him get out of his shell, angel seemed to give him the confidence to do something with himself.

angel helped him get the job at bainbridge and in a frenzy of emotions he kissed her. one kissed turned into many, and for the first time in a while– he didn’t think of sona. he only thought of angel and how she seemed to quickly take over his mind. 

he didn’t forget about sona, but he was so happy that he was able to forge new happy memories without her. there were some days he wished that she was still there, but then he’d look at angel and everything would be fine. 

to say that he was in love with angel was an understatement. he loved her in the same but different way than he loved sona. he couldn’t compare them. they were both so starkly different, but yet so compatible for him.

two years of working as a history professor. he’s happy, he’s in a committed relationship. but before he knows it, sona is standing in the threshold of his office. she can see the little framed picture of him and his angel propped on his desk. and for the first time and two years he misses her.
