Lucas Baizen knows better than anyone that family and reputation are two things that go hand in hand. Lucas will do anything to protect his name. He is very careful, having learned from a young age how to play the game to win around here. Everything Lucas has done, every connection he’s ever cultivated, has been for a reason. He is always thinking several steps ahead, observing and scheming at every turn. Lucas will smile politely and excel at schmoozing his father’s business associates at any boring function he’s invited to. The same applies to usual social gatherings on the Upper East Side. Lucas knows what is expected of him and unlike his own brother, he isn’t planning to disappoint.
Capable of thinking his way out of anything, Lucas is the brains behind the operation. He always has a plan A, B, C and well, you know how the alphabet goes. The most scandalous thing (that anyone knows of, at least) that Lucas has done is become best friends with Caisson Andrews. Yes, Andrews. Everyone knows about the Baizen-Andrews family feud, they have been business rivals since, perhaps, the dawn of time. Together, Lucas and Caisson are a terrible twosome. All of their lives they’ve gotten into all sorts of shenanigans and for now, their parents have tolerated it. Lucas knows how to get what he wants, and he’ll ensure his relationship with Caisson is left alone. Overall, Luke likes things just so. Perfect. The details have to be just right and this applies to all aspects of their life. Luke’s observant and technical, everything he does is done right. What Does Gossip Girl Have On Them?
There was one moment of weakness that Lucas indulged in that might come back to bite him... and her name is Georgina Sparks.
Carter and Elizabeth Baizen - the siblings. Carter was the ‘golden boy’, coolest kid in school and he taught Luke a lot. Then he taught Luke how to, you know, not be. The whole ‘giving up the trust fund’ thing was a...choice. Close with Elizabeth and keeps their secrets.
Caisson Andrews - the BFF, partner in crime, stuck-like-glue type. These two are always together, plotting. Luke is the planner, Caisson puts things into actions. Spends most of the time in the day with Caisson.
Oliver Andrews - Caisson’s cool older sibling (a lot of parallels, y’know?). They’ve hung out a lot too.
Georgina Sparks - Georgina Sparks is a lot. She is chaos personified and well, Luke loves chaos. And they... Well, it was complicated, and Luke doesn’t do complicated. Keeping up angelic appearances, remember? They haven’t talked in a while.
