Had lunch at Cielito Lindo last Saturday and it was satisfying. This restaurant is a little hidden gem tucked away in the center of The Concourse, Henderson. It seems to be a popular spot for lunch. There weren't many tables available but luckily we arrived just a little bit before lunch time so we found a place to sit and eat. More people came by after that. First of, I started with the Tacos. The first one was the Baja Fish Tacos, the fish was crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. It was tastier with some lemon juice on it. The next was the Cachete (Beef Cheek) tacos, the beef was really soft, tender and flavourful. I got some chewy parts in it which was not nice to chew but I still ate it anyway because overall, it tasted good. The last taco is the Nopales taco - the cactus taco. I like this one as it was flavourful and it soft yet firm texture has a nice bite to it, it tasted even better with some lemon juice. Rating 9.8 / 10 The next thing I had was the Mexican Picadillo nachos (Beef Mince Nachos). The beef mince was soft and flavourful. I love the cheese sauce they put on top which was tasty. The corn chips were, thin, crispy, well salted and tasty. While I like the texture of eating thin corn chips, it did make it a bit hard to use it as a spoon to pick up the beef mince and cheese. Everything paired up well with the guacamole and sour cream Rating: 10 / 10 Finally, we had the Bistek (Pan Fried Beef Steak) Quesadilla. This one was not as tasty as the rest. I felt like it was lacking flavour. I needed to eat it with the guacamole or the salsa to add flavour to it to make it tasty. Rating 5 / 10 I also want to rate the Guacamole on its own as it tasted delicous. Rating 10/10 The salsa was delicious too. Very flavourful and fairly spicy. I gave it a 9.8 because the taste was not consistent for the refills. The first bowl tasted the best. The 2nd one tasted slightly different but still good. The 3rd refill also tasted slightly different.
