thank you but this is someone who i feel like i generally like and agree with a lot of the time - and i even like their interpretation of Goku despite not sharing it. i just dislike the forceful and gross way it was worded
there’s a bunch of renewed Goku hate/bashing going on. i don’t think it’s so cut and dry as he’s a horrible, selfish, irredeemable good-for-nothing or a blameless, saintly, righteous does-no-wrong pedestal-deserving beacon of virtue. he’s more nuanced than it might appear, the situations are complicated and not always applicable to real-life morality. however, liking or disliking him is fine and i can usually understand arguments both ways. if i go to defend him it’ll come across as being some huge fan of his character to the point where i’m unable to handle criticisms of him which isn’t even accurate but ugh
he still deserves more than a wildly skewed analysis that focuses on the negative aspects of his personality to the exclusion of all else
