There are moments in time when I feel obnoxiously girly. My birthday was one such occasion. I revisited a favorite recipe for chocolate raspberry cake from college, but decided against the effort of ganache in 100 degree weather. (Holler at me late summer babies!) I did perhaps forget that this recipe creates two gigantic cakes, meaning it would make about 5 dozen cupcakes. Happy birthday, me!
