hii! so hey @taylorswift i literally love you so much, so when i was going through pictures of you on pinterest, your favorite chai tea cookie recipe popped up! so obviously, i had to make them??? here is a review of your favorite cookies!!

first of all, i thought it should be noted that i listened to 1989 while baking these, so obviously 1989′s magic powers must have had some affect on how the cookies turned out. the dough was so easy to make and definitely good enough to eat, we almost forgot to add the chai. at first i doubted the powers of chai, but then i realized it made the cookies smell like christmas-tree-swiftmas-magic-autumn-leaves-fallin-like-pieces-into-place heaven! lowkey, my grandma and i ate a bit too much of the dough so the yield was a bit off but do i blame that on the recipe? don’t blame me, but no. we baked the cookies, but so far the only taylor magic we had added in was the chai (and 1989). We decided to make the frosting. and it was a life changing out of body experience.

it smelled like cinnamon love, and it tasted like the sugary sweetness of that moment when taylor was like crying happy tears during the reputation tour in england. when icing the cookies, i tried to dip them in the icing but honestly that made them all bubbly and not pretty like @taylorswift ‘s insta pic so, i just spooned it on instead. i tried them with my family and i will quote from my brother “sugar cookies on steroids, in a good way” and they were devoured within a day!

so to wrap things up, you look like you need a cookie. specifically a chai tea and cinnamon icing cookie. infused with 1989. go make them right now. 10/10 reccomend.

Happy #bakeitoff Monday!! I’m still watching the Me! Music video obsessively, so I made some me!-inspired donuts. They’re orange vanilla dough with a orange and lemon glaze. For toppings, I used sprinkles and made the rainbows with fruity pebbles and shredded coconut (which besides being cute has the added benefit of making the donuts even more tasty!).

These definitely brighten up any Monday morning. You can use your favorite donut dough recipe, and mix it up with your own flavors. For the glaze, I used 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons orange juice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and the zest of half and orange and one lemon.
