Went to the store and said "Hmmmmmm....$5 for a slab of cinnamon rolls. Pft, I can do better." 2/$3 biscuit dough $3.50 butter $1.50 cream cheese $1.50 brown sugar $1.50 powdered sugar Already had small amount of milk, vanilla, sugar and cinnamon but if I didn't, probably something like $3 milk, $5 vanilla, $2 sugar, $3 cinnamon? Or there about? Viola! Monkey bread! With cream cheese frosting that blended up to look like Ponda Baba. At about triple the price! When you bake or craft, chances are you pay more. But guess what. I bet it tastes better than the slab of pre made cinnamon rolls. And it was fun to make with my little monkey. Who might be 14, but he still loves to bake with momma.
