Did Gaara ever openly threaten Baki?
Baki, the sole person responsible for managing Gaara’s well-being and safety once their genin team had been officially formed, is a bit of a special case. While Gaara would sometimes make off-hand threats toward his siblings and Baki together (”Shut up, I’ll kill you”), he recognized Baki as a mediator, and as someone, again, presumably powerful enough to subdue him if necessary.
He also recognized Baki (albeit subconsciously) as the only person other than Yashamaru who saw him for what he was - an angry, unstable, but human child - rather than the monster the world had forced him to be.
Any threat Gaara ever made to Baki would be no more serious than childish griping.
