Hey, Volt anon, with a lighter hc this time. This one’s for the Hydron Gehabich AU. After Hydron saves Volt and Lync from the edge of the dimension, he brings them to earth and starts to introduce them to the humans who took care of him & Lync is all like Alice! Sacha!! My two favorite girls!!! So Lync and Hydron end up dragging Volt around Alice’s house Volt's kinda nervous bc Alice ordered Sacha to follow them around, but if Lync trusts the weird horse dog, it can't be too much trouble, right?

Volt very quickly assumes the position of big brother of everyone. He gets stern with Lync and Hydron, helps around the house and lab, and does most of the heavy lifting.

After he’s gotten comfortable at the Gehabich’s household, at night he can often be found passed out on the sofa with a book in his hand and Sacha on his lap. It’s his favorite place/way to sleep.

Oh, and as a fun little side thought: during really cold nights Volt will unfold the sofa in front of the fire into a bed, and sit back against the cushions. Gradually, everyone joins him on the bed with blankets and pillows and they all cuddle while the fire slowly dies down and goes out. The only family member not in the pile is Doctor Michael, as he’s too old for this shit and his back can’t handle sleeping like that.
