If there was a moment you could be stuck in forever, it would be now.
The breeze hitting your skin while your nose twitches at the cold air and your hands buried themselves in your coat. The tree above you  rustled it’s leaves and branches at the wind which gave you a calming sensation. The nature around you made you forget the nervous but awaiting feeling in your stomach.
Calling from the hill below you heard your name and you peeked down, finding the eyes of your lovers. They were covered in warm clothing and a few things in their arms. Even Bakugo had a soft smile.
A box of food being carried by Kirishima, a blanket being held by Mina as she rushed passed the boys to meet you. Bakugo with a shiny bag with paper sticking out of it like a birthday present. Denki and sero carries the quilt to sit on and the plates and everything else. You smile and welcome the crushing hug Mina pulls you into with a laugh.
A few minutes later everything was set up and it had you all calm and ready to enjoy a quite night alone. Even if it was slightly cold this was your place, the place were you all came together.
“Y/n,” you turn to see them all looking at you with a soft expression. Bakugo leaned off his arm and reached into your hair and watched you get confused only to pull a leaf out of your hair.
You chuckle and thank your boyfriend which he rolls his eyes playfully. “Dumbass, just eat.” You all laugh at him but decided to finally eat. Hours of talking and cuddling up to one other for warmth was on hell of a way to spend the night.

You were…. Different, to say the least.
Not in a “mysterious” kind of way, or at least not that Kaminari could see; you just seemed to chameleon with whoever you came into contact with.
And that’s fine, he’s seen Shinsou do it nearly every day they hang out together. He knows better than to press or question it, but he does think it’s an interesting way to go about it.
With Shinsou, it’s very consistent- he’s stoic and snappy when he’s with others, snorty and great at video games with his friends.
That doesn’t seem to be quite the case for you.
Instead, since you’re new to the group, you seem to code with everyone; with Kaminari himself, you’re bubbly, giggling at everything he says and loud in the best ways, extremely affectionate and always nudging him for attention. Kirishima has you at your most reassuring, validating each other and never letting one be defeated. Sero has you going on adventures to the gas station at ungodly hours of the night. Mina gets to see the more reactive side of you, be it from online window shopping or whatever you’re watching, and Bakugou seems to have the part of you that loves silence and anime and his island in animal crossing, and the few times Kaminari has interrupted said hangout, you’ve been so far from the bubbliness he’s used to seeing from you and in a new wash of calm.
Teachers have you at your most studious, always so quick to offer help and an answer to questions, never short to volunteer yourself.
It’s definitely not bad, far from it! He admires it about you… but he does wonder who you really are, what part of you is the most present when you let it be known.
He wants to think it’s the bubbly, loving one you’ve given him the privilege of dating, but lately he’s not so sure. You’ve been mixing up the codes, and while he doesn’t mind at all, you seem to.
You’ve distanced yourself from it, from the group and from him; and after months of Kaminari working up every last nerve and pickup line to have you on his arm, he’s not about to let that slip.
And by the graces of whatever gods’ watch from above, it’s not just him that notices either; almost everyone in the squad asks him where you run off to (save for Bakugou, though Kaminari sees the way his head turns quickly when your whereabouts are questioned.)
It’s comforting to know they want you present just as bad as he does.
It’s also comforting that Sero knows your dorm code- look, Denki tried to remember, but he forgets, okay, he’s not a bad guy for that, Mina- and has no shame in blazing into your room like a man on a mission.
Good thing you weren’t sleeping. Or naked, Kaminari thinks in relief.
“Friend meeting,” Sero announces, barging into your room with no other warning. It makes you jump up in bed with a scream, but once you realize it’s just the squad, you scoff and hide under the covers.
“I’m not in the mood.”
“It’ll be quick.”
With a whimper, you burrow deeper under the sheets, and Kaminari gently rests on the bed, hand gently easing over your back to calm you. “We just wanted to check in on you... I... like, we haven’t seen you in a while.”
When you poke your eyes out from the sheets, they quickly scan over the hurt expressions of the group, and the absolutely heart broken one of Kaminari, his golden pools curling up in worry.
“You’re making a big deal out of nothing,” you grumble, sitting up and scooting towards the corner of your bed. You do reach for Kaminari’s hand to hold, fiddling with his fingers softly. “Is it impossible to imagine I could want some space?”
“You’ve ditched me like, three times,” Bakugou snaps. “The last time we hung out, you got all nervous and dipped. Nice try, though.”
You shift softly in the sheets, “you clearly didn’t want me there-”
“Don’t assume shit I don’t say, dumbass!”
“As much as it pains me to side with bombshell hair,” Sero sighs, promptly shushing Bakugou’s offended snarling, “you’ve been distant with me too. At first I just thought you didn’t want to chill with me anymore, but then everyone kind felt like something was up.”
“Even when we were hanging out,” Mina says softly, crossing her arms almost protectively. “You made a joke I didn’t hear, then you apologized and snuck out of the room.” She shakes her head gently, “and I don’t ever want you to feel unwelcome in my room but you don’t have to feel pressured to hang out with us, we just-”
“You just don’t get it!” You snap, making everyone flinch back in surprise. “You’re just being dramatic! I haven’t been ignoring anyone, or distant, or-”
“We didn’t mean to make you upset,” Kaminari says softly, cutting off your ranting. He looks sad, like you’ve kicked him, and it puts you in even more of a crisis. “I was... we were just worried about you. It came from a good place, but ‘m sorry we made you upset.”
You give him a shaky sigh, “you didn’t, I just...” you gnaw at your lip while concerned eyes glaze your face. “There’s nothing wrong with me acting one way or another when I spend time with you all.”
A chorus of ‘totally!’’s and ‘of course!’’s fill the air, and your waterline swells with stabbing tears because their eyes still bore into yours for answers because they clearly still don’t get it-
“I just don’t feel the need to be 100% myself all the time when you clearly already like the company I give.”
“But why do you feel the need to hide any percent of yourself?”
“Because!”
“Because why?”
“Because what if you don’t like the real me all the time!”
This, now, has the whole room quiet, Kaminari’s heart aching for putting you on the spot. You look like you want to cry in embarrassment, but your hands stay clenched and bottom lip wobbling.
“Oh, sweetie,” Mina whispers, standing up and quickly making her way next to you. Her head rests on your shoulder lovingly, and you sniffle and lean your own head against hers.
“Of course we’ll like the real you,” Kirishima assures.
“I mean, we adore the you that you show each of us,” Sero adds, smiling encouragingly. “The only thing better is knowing that you’re giving us all of you.”
“You know I’m gonna adore you,” Kaminari promises, creeping next to you and gently knocking his head against yours. You offer him a choked laugh before threading your fingers through his hair, letting him nuzzle against you fondly. “The only one who might not is Bakugou.”
“You leave me out of this,” he grumbles. “I deal with the rest of you idiots, one more ain’t gonna kill me.”
A Bakugou Katsuki way of saying “I’ll still want to hangout with you; no matter what.”
You give them all a shaky sigh before curling closer to Denki, tucking your face in his neck. He quickly wraps his arms around you, as if protecting you from your own worst judgements.
“You’re just saying that,” you whimper. His nose nuzzles into the crown of your head, gently rocking you both back and forth.
“We’re not,” Kirishima promises, kneeling down in a hopes to get into your eye line. “There’s a side of you we’re all used to, sure… but there’s so many other parts to you we’d kill to see.”
“And who cares if we don’t?” Bakugou scoffs; it causes everyone in the group to glare at him briefly, and he rolls his eyes, “don’t give me that look! Do you know how freeing that shit will be? That you don’t have to worry about what others “want” to see from you? You ain’t gonna lose us, so you may as well just be the person you want to be, whenever you want to be.”
Slowly, you sit up, letting his words sink in and settle inside your sinking heart. It does make a small spark of hope become alight, and with a small smile, you nod at him.
“Surprisingly, that was probably the most reassuring thing I’ve heard,” you chuckle.
Denki plants a kiss to your pounding head, the action soothing the ache briefly. “Who coulda guessed Kacchan would be the most comforting of us?” He teases, and you watch with a string of laughter as Bakugou’s shoulders hike defensively.
“Watch your mouth,” he snaps. “Don’t make me regret the whole ‘kindness’ shit.”
“Might think you’re growing soft on me, Bakugou,” you tease.
“Not soft for any one of you assholes! This is why I’m never nice to you dickheads!”
“You liiiiike me.”
“I DO NOT!”
It was obvious to everyone, however, that with all the thoughts laid out and Katsuki being the one to read right through you, there has to be even a little bit of affection in that head of his.

"Huh?! Hey-" He remained tense and still as you hugged him tighter. Eventually, he sighed in defeat and, begrudgingly, wrapped his arms around your waist. "Okay," He muttered after a few seconds, "That's enough. Get off!" You pulled away from him, unable to ignore his flustered face.

Kaminari is touch-starved and his love language is physical touch (and words of affirmation)

Kiri LOVES hugs. They make him feel protective and safe and needed. In other words, he always wants/needs a hug.

"Oh my gosh, I have morning breath. You poor soul!" You chuckled at his small worry, kissing him on the cheek.

Sero didn't think much of hugs until he met you. He got obsessed with them.
He sometimes sweeps you off your feet when he's super happy. He doesn't know why he does it, it's just fun.
He sways in his hugs and makes them last as long as possible.
Feels like a shelter from the rain.
Sero ran towards you, enveloping you in a hug and lifting you up. You yelped in excitement and surprise as he did. Sero kissed you and set you on your feet again, his arms still tight around you. "Did you see me?" He questioned.
"I did. You did amazing, love." He swayed like always, keeping you wrapped around him. You both relaxed in the hug, grounding yourselves in the warmth.
Ashido
Mina BEARHUGS and will tackle you to the ground. It doesn't matter if she saw you 2 years ago or 2 hours ago, she's going to latch onto you and never let go.

Best way to describe the Bakusquad: chaos with a babysitter
At any given moment, Denki and Mina are running off to do whatever latest idea (that'll more than likely go terribly wrong) they've come up with before Bakugou hunts them down. Kirishima and Sero probably fall on Bakugou's side more often than not, but Kiri can be convinced to do a lot of things for a friend or for the fun of it and Sero's just along for the ride
If you prefer the dumbass duo, be prepared for a lot of yelling and being dragged around. Blowing off study sessions for boba and a movie? Nope, Bakugou's already dragging off everyone that didn't come willing and just for trying to get out of it, you're starting with whatever subject is your worst/least favorite
If you're more of the parental friend, you've got your work cut out for you. Between Denki seeing if he could power the dorms on his own(he could, but he'll go whey very quickly) and Mina's endless schemes to make a new friend or pair off some pining idiots(girl's gonna burn herself out if she doesn't take a break), you wouldn't get much time to yourself if it wasn't for Bakugou and occasionally Sero and Kiri helping reign them in
That said, the group is very supportive of each other in spite of the frustration they may cause each other at times
Kirishima is the main supporter in the group. He makes sure everyone knows they can come to him for anything they think he can help with, whether it's a shoulder to cry on, a massage after training, or just listening to a rant after a long day
Mina is definitely the self-care guru of the group. She'll hook you up with face masks, scented candles and lotions, and whatever show you want as background noise while you spill your guts to her(and you will spill your guts to her, whether you intend to or not, it's like a second quirk of hers). She even gets the rest of the squad to have a whole self-care day at least once a month.
Denki is everyone's personal hype man, doesn't matter what it is. Staying back at the gym for extra training? He's your sparring partner or personal cheerleader. Studying extra hard for your exams? Can't promise he'll know what you're studying(even if he's taking the same test), but he's checking in on you at least once an hour, bringing snacks, drinks, and reminders to take breaks. Pranking Bakugou for a TikTok? He's already got the camera and his running shoes on.
Sero might not be as outspoken as your other friends, but he sort of takes pride in that too. He likes being the person his friends can come to just to chill out and decompress away from the usual hustle of school and classmates. If you're lucky, he'll take the bed and let you hang in his hammock(if you're extra lucky, he'll cuddle in it with you)(yes I'm a Sero simp, what about it).
Bakugou might hate to show it, but we all know he cares for "the idiots that follow him everywhere." Of course you might not notice the extra care he puts into making sure everyone's ready for the next test or properly fed and hydrated between all the yelling and scowling at you all.
Of course, no supportive friend group is complete without group cuddles. Whenever one of you is upset over something and just needing a lot of comfort(as long as they're comfortable with it), the whole group assembles to smother them in affection and remind them how much they mean to everyone.
For simplicity's sake, lets just do a cuddle pile with you in need of attention.
Kirishima, as the best cuddler, will usually be right on top of you or have you in his lap, squishing you into his chest as he rubs your head and back. Mina and Denki take up either side of you, each clinging to an arm, Mina playing with or braiding your hair and Denki whispering reassurances about how amazing you are while nuzzling his nose into your neck. Sero is by your legs, either laying on top of them if he can or sitting between them and facing you, head resting on his crossed arms, his weight a gentle reminder he's there for you. Bakugou, as always, doesn't want to be obvious about how much he cares for you, so he's off to the side of the pile, scrolling through his phone and hoping no one points out how he holds onto and squeezes your hand or the concern in his eyes when he glances over at you.
Overall, a lovely bunch to be in, all the attention and (chaos)care you could ask for.

Sero offered his house, Mina promised skin care and relaxing products, Bakugou, in his unique way, said he’ll bring the food and Kirishima will bring snacks.
Kaminari’s crunchyroll and netflix accounts were already set in Sero’s TV, considering they’re roommates. And all you had to do was go.
Because the Bakusquad would be incomplete without you there.
And so night came and you all are at KamiSero’s apartment, lounging around on the couch or the floor with a face mask on and food laid out deliciously on the coffee table. But that food has gone cold by now, with how close you guys are holding onto each other: somehow, Kaminari managed to rope in Bakugou.
(Not really, Bakugou willingly went to where you were sitting, an arm lazily hung around your shoulders until Kirishima came and laid on both of your laps.)
Eventually, the other three slipped down to the floor, and someone’s arm, leg, hand, face, chest, any body part was touching another one, finding comfort in each other's presence while watching the main protagonist go into some monologue about something.
No one’s paying attention, not with Kaminari’s narration and Sero’s horrible mimicry of a female’s voice. Even Bakugou’s joining in with the laughter, shoulders shaking as he tries to not be so loud with his laugh. Everyone still teases him whenever he’s having a good time, and he doesn’t mind, but he doesn’t want the hilarious interaction and dialogue end all so everyone could gang up on him.
You snuggle in closer towards Mina, suddenly interrupted by someone’s stomach growling rather loudly.
That was Bakugou’s cue to go heat up the food with the help of Kirishima while Mina helps you peel off the face mask and Sero’s busy convincing Kaminari how the current anime is too boring and how they should just switch to Netflix to see what they have in store.
