A Dedication
I know I want to participate in Aphrodite April in some way but before I did that I feel like I really need to come here and talk about my first mother.
My first Mother was a kind and gentle Goddess, though she is often only remembered for her wrath. She doesn’t often get enough stories about her kindness and good deeds. I’d like to write some for her some day. Dedicated poetry to a Goddess of Balance and Justice.
I want to appreciate my dear mother who taught me of Balance. How Good and Evil come from the morals of humans, morals light and darkness do not inherently possess. How light and darkness are neither good nor evil but simply, like the rest of the elements, just elements. How, despite how much pain it causes my heart, all things happen for a reason. But that concept also gave me hope. If all thinks happen for a reason, then I was meant to survive, if I continue to survive then I will reach my highest happiness. That is what got me through 12 years of mental abuse and nearly being starved to death. It’s what got me through the deaths of each of my parents. My Mother saved my life. She SAVED me, and she continued to teach me and give me love and support. For that Dear Mother I am forever grateful.
All of my love to my Dear Mother:
Nemesis, Goddess of Balance
