“I always loved these balancing birds as a kid. This is the real deal, no tricks. No glue, magnets, or anything else. The key of course is that the weight in front of the tip of the beak is equal to the weight behind the tip of the beak. The other trick is to do this elegantly and make it look appealing! Hope you agree this would be a great set to have on your desk, on a shelf, wherever you can think of!”
The Lilac-Breasted Roller bird's balancing is oddly mesmerizing. The head just kinda stays in place while the rest of the body wiggles. Kinda reminds me of a chicken
We wanted to see if our design for the bird plane would work, so we made a model. :) Made with paper, modeling wire and modeling clay. It's balances on it's own! +_+
