Baleeira (Sagres Breakwater)
Date unknown. Active; focal plane 13 m (43 ft); flash every 4 s, white or red depending on direction. 6 m (20 ft) round tower, painted with horizontal red and white bands. Trabas has Eckhard Meyer's closeup photo, and Google has a satellite view and a distant street view from the base of the pier. Located at the end of the breakwater on the west side of the bay of Baleeira, the harbor of Sagres. Site open, tower closed. ARLHS POR-066; Admiralty D2171; NGA 3622.
