Bali & Indonesia - Updated Quarantine Regulations
Indonesia has increased the mandatory quarantine for travelers coming to Indonesia to 10 days (9 nights). Day 5: BSB to KL to Bali
I sleep in! It's late.. No waterfall hike afterall... Already 30 degrees with 98 humidity I see.... Yuck! This is at 9am! Laze about in bed... As it's a long day today... The things I do, just to see new countries! Ready for the airport to KL then KL to Bali! Flights were cancelled, so now I won't reach Bali till midnight. GAY! Well done AirAsia! The flight is also delayed by 30mins. Airport is under construction, so there is literally nothing, a few coffee bean places, money changers.... And a small duty free shop. Don't go to the gate, until last minute, there are no toilet facilities or anything except seats. AirAsia note: do check in online & print your boarding pass.... There is an excessively long queue otherwise. There is a little kiosk for u to check in there... But I'm not sure why no one was using it. :S Bag comes at 6.2kg still! Still getting comments on how I don't have luggage. Lol. In terms of cash... I've managed to use the 100Aud I exchanged... With 2BND left and a few Singaporean $1 coins they accept all other coins. Get to KL airport and I'm starving! Maybe should've pre purchases food on flight. Would've saved some hassle. I exchange Aud $20 so that I can buy some dinner. It's more than I need, oh well save some for next time. Get Nasi Lemak yum! Go exchange another 50Aud into USA for the damn visa fee in Bali. All good. Loving the free wifi... If it was a longer stopover I'm glad there's a movie room here. Keeps you entertained. My 2nd AirAsia flight leaves on time! Plus I have a whole row to myself! Yay! I lie flat taking it all up... Super comfy. Good way to end a super long flight day. Immigration at midnight is still busy, takes about an hour? Line up to pay visa, then line up for immigration, luggage then customs. Hotel, check in.... Room is amazing! Got upgraded, Except room facing the beach & nightun next door. Noisy, request change room.. 3am..... Finally asleep in bed. Upto date I've spent $150Aud + 35USD visa fee (does not include flights and hotel) on transfers/food/souvenirs/tips/etc. Doing pretty well I think although I was planning on splurging in Bali.
