The Red Lantern Society - Spring 2022
Hello and welcome to 2022! The Red Lantern Society is opening once more for applications for membership. This application period will run from January 15th to March 31st before we close applications until the fall season to both settle new applicants and focus on the eventful summer months.
The Red Lantern Society is an adult venue community built around the brothel theme that caters to those adults who wish to include that theme in their storytelling. While we're very familiar with the expectation that brings from the community, we're here to provide touchpoints for;
- Players interested in the dynamic between a companion and their patron, a la Moulin Rouge or Pretty Woman.
- Players interested in having a trusted confidante, like those who perhaps have loved and lost or those who are military-aligned that have trouble sleeping and want a warm bed and good company that may not necessarily be sexual.
- Players who dabble in underworld themes where meetings in a brothel or a friendship with the Madame can offer unique business opportunities for both parties.
- Players who just want to talk to pretty men and women in a classy venue that isn't quite upscale, but is comfortably accessible and friendly.
- Players with communities or FC's that need more bodies to assist with their own events and/or storylines.
Our main focus at this time is bringing on more players interested in exploring the themes we play in while also progressing their character and assisting in the progression of other characters. We are a networking company, which means that we very much push our members to get out there and talk to others and we assist other venues with their events.
- Male characters in a companion position. We would love to see more men in this position on our roster, as they are truly a rarity and we do have considerable requests for them.
- Female characters in a companion position - primarily those interested in men. We are pretty well-handled on the lesbian, bisexual and pansexual front and many of these are with feminine lean. We'd like to add a few who are interested in men to our roster.
- Very, very limited on both Security and House Staff. We keep a limited Security staff because we are a brothel, not a mercenary company. Those that apply with either of these as primary roles will need to have very unique and exceptional ideas.
We Are Not/We Are Not Looking For;
- Fast Food ERP. Our community is built entirely on story- and character- development. Our companions are encouraged to say 'no,' and they are encouraged to be out of the house and enjoy the game. We are not a quick-fix to get an itch scratched and you are more likely to find us out in the world than parked in the house.
- Disguising ourselves. Our community is based in brothel themes. We do not shirk from this, we do not find shame in this. We are not one thing disguised as another. We have cut a niche for ourselves in this theme and want those looking for that niche to find it, and we sacrifice nothing to make that crystal clear.
- Dating Service. The Lantern is not a dating service. Please do not join with the intent of sleeping your way through the ranks - we are exceptionally firm on this and remove those we find using our membership like this.
