The forecast of another April snowfall makes Balto happy:) He was an Alaskan sled dog who traveled through a blizzard to deliver medicine. This Central Park statue dates back to 1925. The actual Balto was present when it was unveiled. This sculpture is popular with small children. Another famous dog comes to mind: the animated Blue. “Blue’s Clues” was a wonderful TV show for preschoolers. (Photo taken on April 5, 2018)
Visited the Balto statue today while in New York City. I'm so happy, you guys just don't even know. One more thing crossed off my bucket list. 💖
We took an off-day with Kuma to go and visit an ancestor over at @centralparknyc. From the looks of it, he seemed very excited.
