ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who was the one to take the very first step towards their friendship, even when Bambietta made herself seem almost impossible to reach. Orihime had never been the one to shy away from difficult personalities, if anything, they only made her more curious. And Bambietta–sharp-tongued, explosive, constantly looking like she was one minor inconvenience away from biting someone’s head off–was probably the most difficult person Orihime had ever willingly approached. Still, Orihime tried…and what better way to butter someone up by using the one thing she loved the most in the world–bread. It started with small things. Extra pastries from the bakery she worked at. Leftover cream buns. New flavours she thought Bambietta might like. Orihime always approached her with the same bright smile, carefully holding the bag out towards her like it was some grand peace offering. Technically, she should have been charging for them, but Orihime had never been particularly good at putting money before kindness. Much to her dismay, Bambietta wasn’t nearly as passionate about bread as Orihime had hoped. Most of her reactions ranged from mild indifference to outright confusion whenever Orihime excitedly came over to give her some freshly baked goods. Still…Bambietta never quite rejected them. And somewhere between those small exchanges, awkward conversations after school, the casual greetings in the hallways and Orihime constantly seeking her out despite Bambietta pretending to be annoyed by it all–the friendship slowly bloomed on its own. And though Bambietta would rather die than openly admit it, she’s glad Orihime never stopped trying. Because having someone like Orihime around, someone so patient, so warm, so stubbornly kind–became something she eventually started relying on without even realising it.
ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who tries her hardest to manage Bambietta’s slightly…concerning violent tendencies, even when Orihime keeps convincing herself they aren’t actually that “bad”. At least, that’s what she tells herself whenever Bambietta casually talks about wanting to seriously kill someone over the smallest inconveniences imaginable. Orihime has gotten surprisingly used to her behaviour over time. The dramatic threats. The irritated rants. The very vivid descriptions of what Bambietta wants to do to people who piss her off. Most of the time, Orihime simply laughs nervously, gently redirecting the conversation somewhere safer while silently praying Bambieta isn’t being entirely serious. But then…there are moments that remind her that Bambietta absolutely is. Like the time a girl from another class started talking badly about Orihime. Orihime honestly hadn’t cared very much. She rarely did. Hurtful words stung for a little while, of course, but she had never been the kind of person to hold onto resentment. Bambietta? That was a completely different story. Orihime still remembers the terrifying smile stretched across Bambietta’s face as she appeared behind the poor girl, seemingly out of nowhere, fingers already tangling into her hair before anyone could properly react. And suddenly, Orihime is panicking, doing her best to pull Bambietta away, insisting it's okay, that she isn't upset, and that she really doesn't want her fighting over something so small. But Bambietta doesn’t care, doesn’t bother to listen to a single word uttered out from Orihime’s lips. Because in Bambietta’s eyes, nobody gets to disrespect someone as kind as her and walk away comfortably. The entire situation ends horribly. Scratches. Torn sleeves. Detention. And afterwards, whilst Bambietta sits there grumbling, Orihime carefully cleans the cuts on her face with the softest expression, whilst also lecturing her the entire time. Bambietta barely listens. She just stares at Orihime the whole time and doesn’t regret a single thing.
ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who absolutely loves inviting Bambietta over for “study sessions” even though neither of them actually gets anything done. It starts with good intentions. Textbooks spread neatly across Orihime’s bedroom floor. Notes prepared in advance. Pencil cases filled with glittery pens. Snacks carefully arranged beside them because Orihime insists studying is impossible without food. And for a good few minutes, seconds even? Things go surprisingly well…until Orihime starts talking. The entire evening derails into complete chaos. Because now, Orihime is passionately explaining some horrifying food combinations she discovered, trying to convince Bambietta that pickled toppings and sweet cream actually taste good together. And somehow–somehow–Orihime always manages to persuade her to try it. Which Bambietta immediately regrets every single time (it’s a surprise she hasn’t attempted to strangle Orihime over it). Meanwhile, Orihime sits there happily, chewing on the very same creation she just discussed, talking about her latest observations about Ichigo, casually mentioning how he seemed “a little happier than usual today.” Bambietta, on the other hand, spends most of the evening pretending to be annoyed at her talks while simultaneously ranting about every person who irritated her the past week which…admittedly, is a very long list (the both of them sat there for hours). Orihime listens carefully to every complaint, occasionally chiming in with soft little comments or attempts at calming her down. Assignments go unfinished as hours pass by. Empty snack wrappers everywhere. The clock nearing two in the morning, which inevitably leads to Orihime helping Bambietta finish the last few questions while Bambietta complains dramatically beside her. But neither of them minds it very much. Because it means Bambietta gets to stay for the night, and Orihime won’t have to spend the night alone.
ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who is terrifyingly good at arcade games, much to Bambietta’s absolute dismay. At first, Bambietta genuinely thought—assumed that Orihime was just joking when she casually mentioned liking arcade games. Orihime didn’t exactly look like the competitive type, much less coordinated or particularly…threatening in any capacity. And when Orihime completely destroyed her score within the first five minutes, Bambietta has never emotionally recovered ever since, which mostly led to constant hangouts at the arcade. What makes it worse is how effortless Orihime is at it, calm and collected and winning every game like a natural, while Bambietta gets visibly frustrated every time she loses—gripping the poor controls too hard, cursing under her breath and threatening the machine itself. Orihime just laughs softly, winning away every other game she gets hold off. To Bambietta, it’s honestly terrifying. Because how is someone this sweet also weirdly talented at every single game? It shouldn’t be possible. But naturally…due to Bambietta’s competitive nature, she takes this as a personal challenge. Which means she refuses to leave until she beats Orihime at least once. Hours pass. Money disappears. And her poor pride deteriorates quickly. Orihime instantly notices how genuinely determined Bambietta has become, especially the last couple of days, and eventually starts losing every now and then just to see her best friend smile. And the second Bambietta wins? Oh, she gloats terribly. Talking about how naturally gifted she is, how Orihime never stood a chance against her, dramatically celebrating like she’d just won a national tournament. Orihime simply smiles, more than happy to see Bambietta finally looking cheerful again.
ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who notices immediately whenever Bambietta is having a rough day—fuming over whatever had previously happened, even when nobody else does. It’s always the small things. The sharper tone in her voice. The irritated tapping of her foot. The way she clenches her jaw whenever someone speaks to her for far too long. Orihime notices all of it instantly. And so, the moment the final bell rings, she quietly reaches for Bambietta’s hand before she can disappear somewhere alone with her anger. Orihime doesn’t want her to be alone with her emotions, not wanting something idiotic to happen when she has the chance to be there for her. Orihime never forces her to talk immediately. Instead, she simply walks beside her in comfortable silence, muttering a few things that happened throughout the day every so often, until they reach someplace quieter, usually the small park tucked away near the edge of town where barely anyone visits after sunset. Orihime waits, patiently—because she understands something most people don’t. Bambietta’s anger usually comes from hurt long before it becomes rage. And so, she listens. Listens to every bitter complaint, every frustrated rant, every sharp word Bambietta throws into the night air. And when Bambietta finally exhausts herself? Spilling everything in her heart and mind, Orihime gently pulls her close to her chest, hugging her. Tight. Warm. Unmoving. Bambietta complains about it every time, stiffening immediately in irritation, the tips of her ears turning a rosy shade of red in embarrassment, uttering about how “annoying” Orihime is being. But she doesn’t push her away, not really. And afterwards, Orihime always drags her to the nearest convenience store for some ice cream. It becomes a routine somewhere down the line. Anger. Comfort. Ice cream. Late-night walks. And little by little, Bambietta relaxes again, because no matter how difficult she becomes, Orihime never leaves her.
ྀི༷♡ ˚ִִ𓈒꒱ 𝅄 ˚ ׅ bestieorihime!! who drags Bambietta to every seasonal event imaginable because she refuses to let her isolate herself. Orihime genuinely loves seasonal activities. Pumpkin carving during autumn. Decorating gingerbread houses in winter. Flower festivals in spring. Summer fireworks and festivals. Everything just excites her. And naturally, the best way to truly enjoy something, is to bring her best friend along. Unfortunately, Bambietta acts like every invitation personally offends her, acting like she’s got better things to do, even though in reality…she really doesn’t. She complains constantly, asking what the point of doing all of this, acting dramatically inconvenienced the entire time. But Orihime knows her too well by now. Because despite all the complaints…Bambietta never fails to show up, even if she acts irritated while doing so. And on the rare occasions where Bambietta becomes increasingly stubborn—crossing her arms, refusing every invitation, insisting she “doesn’t feel like dealing with people”, Orihime never pushes too hard. She simply invites her over—just the two of them. Baking pastries together. Watching movies late into the night. Sharing snacks while sitting side-by-side beneath the blankets. Those invitations are the ones Bambietta never truly rejects, even if she pretends otherwise at first. Because the truth is painful obvious, Bambietta loves being around Orihime just as much as Orihime loves being around her.
