It was a really colorful table, because of the theme: “Arcadia” was an ideal land, where man and Nature (defined as plants, animals and fantastic creatures related to it as fairies, fauns, animistic deities and so on) live together in harmony; it was the basis of a pictorial and literary movement that arose in Europe at the end of 1600.
