A mixture of Taipei Botanical Gardens and the view from Taipei 101!
I’d honestly suggest booking online before you go as then you can skip the lines, (it took me half an hour to get tickets as I went there on a whim, but I was incredibly lucky - waiting times can often be up to 2 hours or more). If you’re a student in Taiwan you can get a discount too! So make sure to bring your student ID.
i found it pretty difficult to take decent photos as you’re surrounded by windows, (I mean, yes, kinda need windows but you know what I mean) spesh since they were a bit dirty. Half the building that had decent lighting so you didn’t get too much window reflection in your photos happened to be covered in LED lighting, which was a bit of a bugger as it fucked up a lot of the photos. You CAN go up top where its open - no windows, but only a quarter of the “top floor” was open to the public, which was kinda lame. Iuno if that’s usually the case though.
Oh, and there’s an insane waiting time to get back down btw. As the teeny tiny elevator you go up in, is also how you get back down... It took longer to get back down than it did to go up :/ I was waiting in line for 2 hours. In contrast, the waiting time to go up was around 45 mins max? So do bare in mind it’s gonna take ya roughly as long as it took to go up, to go back down, if not longer! (So don’t do what I did, which was randomly decide to check it out before meeting up with a mate... Cos you will be late af).
