Summary:

Uther does not allow any magic within Camelot, but with magical beasts overrunning the wilderness all about them, he must hire Druid Warriors as guards when Arthur ventures beyond the city gates.

As Arthur journeys with his knights to a neighbouring kingdom, their guard is none other than Emrys, renowned Prince of the Druid people.

Emrys, who was raised to use his powers as a weapon, meets Arthur, who was raised to use his body as one. It turns out they have rather a lot in common.

Summary: Merlin is a recent graduate with a double doctorate in metaphysics and physics. Arthur is a low-level paper pusher with a desk in the sub-basement of MI5. They live in a world with ridiculous laws and restrictions against anyone who might be supernatural in any way, shape, or design.

Merlin has huge debts looming over this head, a few quid left in his bank account, and no job prospects. Arthur is pushing thirty, in a dead-end job with no chances of promotion to fieldwork agent, and is thoroughly bored with his life.

One ill-advised Craigslist advert, five pushy mates, one nosy all-knowing sister, and a hacked email account later, Merlin and Arthur take the world by storm.(Or, more precisely, they take over the world.)

Why I love it: Merlin’s an oppressed badass and Arthur helps him fight the system with good business relations and his not-so-secret hard-on for evil overlords - what’s not to love?

Coming right up! I've never done this before, so let me know if it's completely the wrong idea.

Arthur stormed up to the warehouse door, subtlety be damned. The bastards had Eames, and that wasn't sitting too well with him. He kicked the door open, entering the warehouse with his gun emptying clips at anything that moved.

"In trouble again, Eames?" He snapped, firing a round right between the eyes of the guard who had been trying to sneak up on him.

A bullet grazed his arm and he clenched his teeth, biting back a hiss of pain.

"You know me, darling. Never one for a dull life." Eames called back gleefully from where he was bound.

Arthur shot him a glare before freeing him. "Cobb's outside." He called, rolling behind a desk as the remaining guards opened fire on him. "He's in the car, I'll take care of this."

"Rightio, Arthur." Eames called, cheerfully, strolling  out of the warehouse door casually as Arthur covered him, taking down the last three guards easily.

Following Eames to where Dom was waiting for them, he grabbed the forger's elbow, effectively pinning him to the car. He slammed his mouth against Eames' in a bruising kiss that lasted only seconds.

"Don't make me have to do this again, Mr Eames." He said coldly, getting into the car.
