she was very chill, she said "well i think if you tried to explain that to 90% of the population they would flip and not understand at all, but I get you completely. that's awesome dude."

with all this being said, I'm a fucking possum. thats the way I'm describing myself from now on.

so, I've decided to identify as one :] it makes sense, possums are super fucking cool and ive always felt a little connected to them, but my gender is just.. p o s s u m.

and I want to reflect that in my giant list of identities :D

I've seen so many beings (primarily human or human adjacent) shit on misanthropes for simpily existing.

if you're a human and you're trying to tell me off for having a belief system that YOUR species caused, it makes me even more closed off towards humans.

im not telling humans to die, im not telling them they're the bane of my existence, im not saying that all of them are awful, but some of them have hurt me and hurt me bad and it's my body's INVOLENTARY reaction to be distrusting after what I went through.

if you don't like me for that, leave me the fuck alone!!! DNI!! telling me to DIE or to KMS will do NOTHING!!!

if you push that shit, YOU are part of the problem. if you want me so badly to get better and to heal from what made me this way, don't do EXACTLY what made me this way in the first place.

I understand that not all humans are bad. I understand there's great humans out there. I love some humans and love them a lot. but I will NEVER fully trust a human the way I would a nonhuman, and that's something you may just have to live with. If you have arachnophobia, would I tell you it's irrational and that not all spiders will kill you and you're stupid and should die?? NO. because I have DECENCY. I have RESPECT and EMPATHY.

sometimes I do thank my biological(?) human body for being able to recognize human interactions and how cute they can be.

we're in ASL right now, and we're learning about a deaf school in our area that adopted a deaf dalmatian dog as their service buddy.

like i know I'm misanthropic and all, but humans can still be sweet and I'm glad I can recognize that.

yeah, humans suck 90% of the time and (imo) their society is bullshit and their nature can concern me, but they're just trying to get by with the society that's been set up for them.

I can understand that.

it's not any one humans fault, and it never has been, and I'm glad that some humans are an exception to the madness.

the fact that humans and canines can come together over a disability is heartwarming. that dog must feel so loved over there, im definitely going to have to do more research on that place :]

ive always planned when I grew up to have things like sippy cups and tons of plushies, maybe a couple dolls and toy cars. but why not let that side out of me early? I don't need to hide myself for others comfort.

inside my mind there is a space that's still a little kid, and that side deserves to be happy too, no matter how inconvenient that is for the rest of the world.

guys... I think i want to try age/pet regression as a coping mechanism.

ive been having tough times lately, and i feel like letting my inner child out will help so much with that.

I always long to feel the times when I was just a little kitten again. coloring at my grandma's house, watching my little pony and playing with stuffies. I miss that. I miss it so much it makes me sob.

maybe going back to that mindset, that space when I was happy, could help me be happy now.

ive always had it in the back of my mind that it was something I wanted to do but feared judgement, feared how/if it would affect me negatively, or worse, but honestly I'm done caring.

my pills are clearing the anxiety but it doesn't exactly help with all the depression. the feeling is still lingering and I'm kind of scared. that's why i need to ease my mind. have a back up or a better option if my pills aren't going correctly.

I need to do something, maybe this is it.

I'll try it and let you guys know. any and all tips welcome, thanks for staying with me 🐾

I was very joyous until..

mother asked "what the fuck is that Amazon order.."

I panicked and said it was "for my friend"

said he was "going through a rough time"

and that "this is how he copes"

I mean I'm not lying, that is how I cope, he is just me not max :P

good news is that she doesn't really give a shit, thinks it's weird but could care less at this point

still scared the shit out of me though, I'm not ready to tell anyone who i am and what goes on in my brain, much less an adult who is slightly closed minded
