Hey so to that person who wanted more of the RB Battles X Vampires SMP AU? Well yeah, have the new cast. I’ll reblog with the missing 4 members, tumblr only lets you include 10 at a time.
The basic premise is the same, and each character has a character they ‘resemble’ from the original SMP, but the plot (and the backstories of most of the characters) are different. For example, it’s the Ren and Apo (Tanqr and Bandites, respectively) characters who are duo here, not Ren and Martyn. Most of the turnings are the same, just how the ending shakes out, who the deaths are, and how the cast reacts is different.
If you guys want more of this AU let me know. I will probably make more I love this AU a lot already.
So I’ve been thinking about my TMA AU lately - specifically, the fact that Bandites was the only S3 participant who never got to show up in the story due to dying beforehand. So I was thinking “how can I let Bandites have a bit more screen time?”. So I’m toying with the idea of Tanqr becoming an avatar during the story (rather than pre-canon).
In this concept, the Rodeo Gang (aka the RoGang) are an emo-pop-punk-metal band residing in the city the story takes place in. They’re doing pretty well for themselves, playing in bars and stuff, until one day, their lead guitarist Tanqr Titanium comes across a group of soldiers and comes out changed…
All of Code Red is generally the same, except here it was Bandites who shot Tanqr and therefore survives the onslaught. He’s left scarred but alive enough to give a statement! Tanqr meets Kreek before he becomes an avatar here and tries to ask Kreek for help, but Kreek’s unable to stop the Slaughter’s influence on him. After becoming an avatar, Tanqr continues to pester Kreek, trying to return the favours Kreek did for him.
I’m unsure if I’m going to go with this just yet, but I’m having too much fun drawing it.
…Yeah, okay, not totally ‘Western’, considering the Superhero AU is slightly more cyberpunky and futuristic. But Bandites/Backdoor is a cowboy cop, so I think it makes sense. His power, for the record, is to create portals so he can teleport (think the Portal Gun).
Oh, yeah, this is Bandites. Hopefully that was kind of obvious.
As always, drabble under the cut!
There’s a flash of red and a man runs out of an alleyway, gun gripped in his dominant hand. Before he can get to where he needs to be however, he’s distracted by a discarded newspaper laying in front of him.
SHOULD BACKDOOR BE ADDED TO THE HERO ROSTER?
Robloxia City is no stranger to villains, heroes and of course - vigilantes. While most vigilantes are unknown - some have made a name for themselves, like our local cowboy cop Backdoor.
Sleek, serious, clad in red and black, he strikes fear into any criminal he runs across. Some say this should be enough reason for the higher-ups to acd him to the official hero roster. Others say it’s his power that should enable his addition - what with his ability to create portals to anywhere he’d like!
On the other hand, concerned citizens believe that Backdoor’s methods are too brutal. While (as far as we know!) he has never killed someone, he always brandishes that gun of his - and he’s not afraid to brutally injure a criminal if it means they’re brought to justice. They say that ruthless nature of his isn’t fitting for the city’s beloved hero roster. There are also rumours he’s had some connections to the criminal underworld - but who’s to say?
Do you think Backdoor should be made official? Let us know!
Backdoor scoffs, throwing the newspaper behind him. As if he’d ever join the ‘heroes’. They’re far too ineffective - he’d like to think his methods are superior, never mind if they’re ‘brutal’.
Checking his gun is loaded, Backdoor stalks into the night.
