I dunno how elsewhere this is, but at my college there was this building that, despite several remodels to the whole campus including buildings getting renumbered completely, is numbered wrong. You start the main hall on the first floor, enter the stairs and apparently you are on the 2nd floor. Go up a flight to the 4th floor? Then exit back onto the first floor? Not to mention the one hallway that was under construction when my mom went there in the 80s and was still that way in 2011

I am getting ready to run a game for my friends and one of them is going to run a goblin barbarian that specializes in biting things and that is just... So special. I am so blessed to get to run that delightful murder goblin.

goblin barbarian are two words i didnt think would go together but oh man...i can imagine a small angry buff goblin now.

No-- I need to!! I’m torn, bc Artsy made a valid point about Talon needing a healer type-

I def think I’ll have him be more of a true neutral type tho, he’s an anarchist at this point and very against government powers. But he’s got a ‘protect the people’ mentality, which is why he quit as a cop. Vigilante shit all around.

I think I’m solid on his weapons and abilities though???

Instead of healing/health being in a certain radius of him garners you shields, passive is that gas based weapons (widows mine, ana’s grenades) does half damage on him. His weapon is similar to Symmetra’s & Winstons as it’s a taser gun, and his ult I’m still a bit torn on- is a gas grenade that either allows 50% damage from your team within the radius it’s released, or it paralyzes- but that’s a bit similar to Mei’s freeze so I think the damage one is what I’d stick with.

Ability is that he can create a small personal shield (which if you’re behind him with it you can still be protected- think like Zarya’s barrier usage) and idk if I should give him another??? nnn

I'm sure you've gotten asks about countless different majors and how they interact with the Fair Folk, but what about apparel design majors? Would they basically be like art majors that don't try to capture images of the Gentry? Or would they be treated differently?

In folklore, tailors tend to have an antagonistic relation with changelings. Apparel design majors have to deal with the resentment that legacy has created. But they make beautiful things, as well, and the Fair Folk are often willing to forgive for the sake of beautiful things.

So I don't mean to throw you a curve ball, but how do non-traditional age students fare at Elsewhere? Like adults going back to get their degree?

At the very least, I’d like to think they generally manage to avoid some of the more common pitfalls for freshman - an increased wariness towards the accumulation of debt, for example; a little more caution  and restraint when offered strange drinks. On the other hand, I think many would be more difficult to peer pressure into using safe names, and following other campus traditions of protection.

Could a student possibly come up with a safe name that was just a few letters that happen to be pronounceable? Like, what if they had a safe name like Beb? Or Turg? Qus?

Yeah totally but stop there? Pick a name that’s essentially a keysmash and you know someone is trying to talk to you because they make a fucking terrible mouth-sound that is never the same twice. Bulletproof.
