The difference between playing fingerstyle, and playing fingerstyle with finger picks, is absolutely light years.

I'm 5 days into banjo playing, and I can do the rolls far more fluidly without finger picks.

So now, at the suggestion of the Internet in terms of learning technique, I'm forcing myself to work out how to use the finger picks.

Music is always an adventure.
