How arrogant had the Empire become that they would parade a Jedi’s own lightsaber in front of them? Had they truly forgotten what a Jedi was capable of, even without the Force and their lightsaber, in the last 18 years? Peacekeepers, the Jedi may have been, but people so often believed peace started out peaceful. Peace’s knuckles were scarred, and her knees creaked as she stood to negotiate. They forgot that Peace had blood on her knuckles and a spark of fire in her eyes as she reached for equality and kindness, as she rose from the ashes that would one day bear flowers and greenery, to stand tall against injustice. People forgot that Jedis brought peace and maintained it. Scarred knuckles, aching knees and all. That is what she taught Bruna when she taught her to be a Jedi.
