I started making DNI banners and banners of this kind so if anyone wants something like this I’m making a separate blog for this and will announce when it begins taking request.

Could you make a funky banner with our username on it >:3
Ofc!
Eyestrain warning (not fully, but I can see a bit with the neons/bright colors)
I have never made a post like this, but @breadandbloodybutter and @falsesighted have told me I should charge for banners that I make so... I suppose if you like them and have like $5 bucks, let me know! Details can be worked out in DMs. I really like making these. :3 Examples below the cut to keep from dash cluttering.

Have you made a tutorial on how you make your banners on canva? The exact size of the banner and where do you get the images from? Canva itself or separately like the colour splashed and moon and stars
Whoo boy okay, here we go!
I make my banners on Canva
While I have a pro account, that's not necessary and you can 100% use Canva for free to make banners
The dimensions of my banners vary, but typically they are either:
1500 x 50 px
or 2000 x 120 px
However, I've also used:
3000 x 120 px
and 1500 x 125 px
I get my elements from all over the place,
Many come from Canva's element section:
I can also just use google search and upload my own elements.
However, it's worth noting 2 things:
1) If your element is a .jpg, .jpeg, or a is a png without a transparent background, your elements will have backgrounds. Example:
Canva does have an in-app background remover, but it is for pro users only.
2) Secondly, only SVG elements are colour customizable within canva:
SVG's are a type of vector and you can get them from a bunch of places. Most of my SVG elements come from within Canva however I also get lots of my SVG elements from Daily Art Hub (there are some free elements, some purchasable, I've bought the whole site pack)
Now, not all SVG's will work right away. Canva is very picky, and SVG troubleshooting is a huge pain. However, for any SVG tinkering, you'd like to do, I recommend Inkscape
*not my image*
Theres no way I could cover all SVG stuff in this post, but the main things to keep in mind are:
Keep it below 5 colours
Export it as a plain svg
I've also used Inkscape to make my own SVG's from scratch a few times, which I then uploaded to Canva
Obviously all transparent PNG files can be altered in a photo editing software of your choice.
Hope this helps!
