Just an average Saturday evening. 😆 We received an email about an abandoned rooster. Reports indicated he had been there at least a week and there was a dead rooster nearby. Even though we are in the middle of a move and stretched pretty thin at the moment, we weren’t willing to risk his life another night. Many people in the area passed him by and did nothing to help him. Thank you to the wonderful Samaritan @ajbanner1 that brought him water and got him help, and for the generous donation towards his care. There is evidence of poor nutrition and either a predator attack or being picked on by other roosters. He was dehydrated and starving and very fearful of human contact. 💔 🐓 Dumping animals is illegal and animal cruelty.
