I know, I know. I'm late... It always takes a bit for me.

But I really hope you enjoy it and I wish you a happy (late) birf! ^^

Gave me a really good excuse to doodle the rest of the ones that I couldn't last time + some extra.

A bit of an experiment for me. It's been a while since the last time I used watercolors. The colors themselves are a cheap set but I got this nice thick paper. That way it's doesn't wrinkle from the water.

Some of the poses are inspired by sprites from Limbus. I really like how Cyra and Fruit Rollup turned out. :D

And thank you so much for the ToyHouse link. I didn't even know about some of the OCs there, like Willow or Ruma.

Willow is such an adorable bee! And we can always use more Corey. ^^

Also apologies if Bannoch has the wrong colors. I wasn't sure for some of them. --'

Hi, was just wondering what softwares you would recommend for digital art, I have a wacom tablet but so far have only used autodesk sketchbook just looking to branch out. Thanks!!!!

i’ve never used autodesk so i can’t say what features i have, but i’ll give a couple of suggestions! 

(1) clip studio paint 

VERY good deal especially when it goes on sale, which is often!

a lot of the same features as photoshop

brush engine is AMAAAAZING, simulates a lot of real-world brushes and with many customizable settings to boot

3d models to model and work with right on the canvas!!!! it’s great!!!!

customizable hotkeys which was a HUGE PLUS for me since i’m used to photoshop :”) 

(2) photoshop

although i do not agree with adobe’s price point and i’d suggest this only if you get your hands on a free copy or smth, or get a subscription through your school/company etc

great standard to be used to particularly because a lot of people in the various industries use it

^ also means a lot ot tutorials

a ton of free brushes out there to simulate whatever you might need, spatters, foliage, etc. 

(3) GIMP 

open source and free

fewer tools than the 2 up there, but well, it’s free!!!!! 

i used it for a year or before i got a hand on PS

personally, i use both photoshop and csp, and procreate (ipad only). i wouldn’t say one is for doodling and the other is for polished stuff or whatnot, because it’s really what you do with it and your personal preferences. hope this helps, pal!!
