I basically gave up for a few months cuz of uni & getting bored of the piece, but I returned to it later after some friends encouraged me to finish it. I'm so glad I did; this ended up being my first finished a3 piece, and I'm still pretty proud of it, haha
I'm actually really new to a3, which is crazy because now that I'm finally getting into it, I can see the eng fandom is kind of dead / not as abundant as it used to be. Still, I'm really glad to have found a3, and I really feel like it's a game full of love for all the characters.

Izumi: So, it seems like Tsuzuru-kun has already started working on the script for the sequel performance of “Festival of Nihil.”
Sakuya: I’m already looking forward to seeing what kinda story is gonna come next!
Tenma: What should we do to rehearse until the script is ready?
Banri: Should we do what we normally do and do it by troupe?
Tsumugi: Since the cast is already set, maybe it’d be a good idea for us to do some refresher rehearsals by kingdom.
Izumi: (That is a good point. Although, we’ll probably end up doing some refresher rehearsal eventually, regardless…)
Izumi: What do you guys think of doing something as double cast pairs?
Izumi: Last time, while I was watching all of the double cast pairs do their role studies together, I thought that you guys really helped to inspire each other.
Banri: Double cast…
Tsumugi: Don’t make that face.
Banri: I wouldn’t be makin’ this face if my partner weren’t HIM.
Sakuya: B-But there’s still so much you can gain from working on a character with someone else who’s playing the same role.
Sakuya: Wouldn’t you agree, Banri-kun?
Banri: …Well, I guess it’s not like I learned nothin’.
Tenma: Alright, seems like doing something as double cast pairs the direction we’re deciding on.
Izumi: Since the script isn’t finished yet, it’d be great if you guys could do something interesting in a way that’s different from your usual role studies.
Tsumugi: Maybe doing something more recreational would be good then.
Tenma: But wouldn’t acting together really help us get pumped up for the performance?
Izumi: …That’s true. What would you think about doing two-man shows?

Izumi: Looks like everyone’s here.
Citron: We have all gathered!
Izumi: You’ve probably already heard a bit about this from your troupe leaders, but…
Izumi: Until the script is finished, we’ve decided to have each of the double cast pairs perform a two-man show together as a recreational activity!
Kumon: Ooh, that sounds kinda fun!
Tsumugi: And now, everyone will pick slips of paper from a hat, and whatever’s on that paper is what you’ll be acting out.
Kazunari: So what we perform depends on what we draw~.
Tenma: And they’ll all feature two characters, of course.
Banri: The papers only got the show’s theme, synopsis, and some dialogue written on ‘em.
Sakuya: One line has been chosen for each of the roles that everyone will be playing!
Chikage: Only one line of dialogue… so they really could be about anything.
Izumi: And I want you guys to each play both of the roles, so please also perform a version of the performance with the roles swapped while keeping the same theme.
Tasuku: So, in other words, it’s something like an etude?
Izumi: That’s up to you guys.
Tsumugi: You can thoroughly discuss what it’s about and develop the idea carefully, or you can just improvise the whole thing like an etude.
Banri: Where you wanna go with it is up to each double cast pair.
Tenma: By the way, when you do your performances, you can do them with just the two of you or invite an audience.
Tenma: Although if we know when you’re performing, anyone’s allowed to just come as an audience member and see it on their own.
Azuma: Heheh, it seems that we’ve got quite the degree of freedom for this.
Izumi: Since this is ultimately a recreational activity among friends, I thought it’d be good to just leave everything else up to you guys.
Izumi: I hope that by having each of the double cast pairs perform together, it’ll help draw attention toward “Festival of Nihil”’s sequel play.
Izumi: Also, as a way to document the rehearsals, make sure you take pictures after your performances.
Yuki: Why pictures?
Izumi: After I told Masumi-kun about the two-man shows, he decided that we should take pictures of whatever we could, just in case it’d make for some good PR.
