What I like about them: she is so freaking strong, a survivor and she always finds a way to get her way / save herself, but beneath that is someone who is actually very vulnerable and loves recklessly but at the same time she's afraid to trust others and let others in, she's also very charismatic and absolutely adorable. but also that she’s unapologetic but she's not in denial she knows she's done bad things
What I dislike about them: some of the awful things she's done even i cant defend, um character assassination she received from the writers so they could kill her off, & the fact that she didn't even try to save herself until the very end, and it wasn't even for herself it was to be with stefan who didn't even love her, the fact that she ends up in some hell dimension & is refused access to the otherside but silas, kol, mikael and damon do
Favourite moment: honestly when she chopped off john’s fingers, but also all the moments when she shows vulnerability, when she insults damon, any scene with the ladies
Least favourite moment: her death lmao and also those scenes when she was being elena and it was just bad writing so fucking bad, damon blaming all his awful deeds on her, DAMON SALVATORE TORTURING HER ON HER DEATHBED

An assortment of headcanons!: katherine burned down her family's cottage after finding them slaughtered there, she's never turned her humanity off completely she needs her humanity to survive too much. she was alone and on the run when she transitioned and had to learn how to control the bloodlust and everything else on her own for the most part.
