Indus Civilization is the earliest civilization that flourished in India on the banks of the rivers Indus.
The area covers around 1.3 millions square kilometers from its frontiers extending from Manda of the Chenab near Jammu, in the North, to Daimabad on the Godavari in Ahmadabad in the South; and Sutkagendor in Gujrat, in the West to Alamgirpur in Meerut, in the East.
