📝LAY IT ON ME
“If yer asking me about Iriel Bell I think my first question is who put you up to this,” Honoura commented, slowly nursing a coffee and keeping a sharp eye on a fruit pastry on a plate. Polly didn’t always go for food that wasn’t his, but when he did he was brazen about it. And considering she was the one who bought it, she had dibs. “Right, what do you want to know about the cranky old man.”Their first impression: “Rich, smart, highly aware of both, ready to blister you for something if you pissed him off. Probably smart to avoid him so I wasn’t on the receiving end.” she raised a finger for every remark.Their current impression: At first, there’s no words; she’s set the coffee mug down, her hands are clasped together in front of her on the table. The look on her face – raised eyebrows, a pout to her lips. This was going to be a lot. “Rich, smart, well aware of both. Definitely will try to flay your skin off with his words if he doesn’t like you. However.” There’s a pause, a moment to give reprieve. It’s also a moment to slide a plate out of reach of a bird. “Melodramatic and loud enough for a theater company. When he complains about something he sounds like he’s thirty-something going on sixty-five. When he likes something I’m surprised I don’t hear him over every half drunk fisher in Limsa.” She rolled her eyes. ”He’s a mess. Mostly a good mess. Perhaps less scary than he’d like to think. Definitely cares too much if he was hoping to sell anyone on that.”
What they like the most about your muse: “Taste in literature aside, his sense of humor’s pretty good. Though… has to be, Bell’s dealt with a lot,” she emphasized the last two words. “He’ll help. If he can. If you let him. Or he’ll at least try.”
What they dislike the most about your muse: “You’d have better luck getting the dead to talk to you about something important. His house tried to bargain him off to a pond. You know how I found that out? Through Tiergan. After he had flowers carved out of his chest. You know. How anybody ought to hear about it.“ Honoura scowled at that, and reached over to scratch her parrot’s head while she fumed a little bit. “I’m not saying he has to tell everyone everything. But still.” Then again maybe this was just a pattern with some of her friends; Joph after all showed up at Castrum Oriens unannounced and oblivious to what war was! Maybe all the men she knew are just that same strain of pigheaded. Gods, please, no. She wasn’t old enough for that sort of responsibility. Or tall enough.
What your muse is for them ( Friend, lover, rival etc.): “Peanut gallery,” she remarked dryly.
A general opinion of their relationship: “Well he’s still giving me plenty of reasons to roll my eyes. So. Good, I’d say.”
If applicable, something they wish to reveal: “Missed you and the foot stools in Gyr Abania.”
Send me📝 and my muse will reveal their thoughts about your muse.
