Currently on a trip to Germany and stopped by Bar Raval while in Berlin, which is co-owned by Daniel Brühl. 10/10 would recommend holy shit. @supercalifragipopculturevomit I remember you had a post about a month ago commenting on the section of the menu that was listed as Daniel’s favorites? I can confirm that the entire selection was absolutely delicious. Pics below with descriptions in the alt text :)

I also picked up a handful of blu-rays (including krabat >:)) that i will be attempting to rip and upload once I get stateside o7

I also got the chance to visit the DDR museum/checkpoint charlie/the world clock/whatever other filming locations for Good Bye Lenin I could fit in a day or two. And I saw a Trabant that was extremely similar to the one used in the film!

Fun trip overall. I will absolutely be returning in the future, if only to visit Bar Raval again. 🥰
