There's something inherently disturbing to others about a girl alone in a bar, especially at night. It's like she's just asking to be saved. Begging for it. I mean, why else is she there? It has never occurred to them that she wants to be lost. Abandoned. That maybe she was abandoned. And being saved is exactly what she's afraid of.

There's a British guy who's a new regular at the my usual bar. I want to marry him. Well, actually his accent. Can you legally marry an accent? I feel this is possible. Maybe.
