For the 20 Character Design: 6, 14, 15, 17 & 19

🎨 6. When creating a character, do you come up with the visual concept or the written concept first?

It depends! I usually prefer starting with the designs and the written concept comes to me naturally as I work on the design (so, uh, they kind of tend to happen at the same time?). But sometimes when I do short stories for random characters I just do the written concept and might never even draw them, although that’s rare: I prefer writing about my already established characters rather than making new ones for oneshot and super short novella purposes

🌻 15. Which character is your guilty pleasure?

I don’t feel guilt about any of my characters tbh haha 

But I think Julius is one of these mostly because I LOVE writing him and his witty attitude. He is such a diva and his personality is strong so it’s always a good time for me when I get to work on him!

Gambler is another in some way, I suppose? He is one of my rare hypersexual characters and I genuinely enjoy the challenge of writing about something I personally have basically no personal experience with anything involved him, not even the way he feels about sex. The real guilty pleasure comes in drawing him in suggestive clothes lmao I have always been super fond of the way corsets etc look like because of all the small details ; _ ;

Also some Sinfonia characters for spoiler reasons I obviously can’t reveal yet 

🔑 17. Which character is the easiest to draw/write?

I think at this point it’s Claude and Jonathan because I have been drawing them a lot for Sinfonia (and for fun) so the way I draw them has already been struck into my spinal cord permanently 

I also think Noë is one of these characters too as I used to use him as my warmup character for sketches for a very long time! She is easy to draw even with non-dominant hand / kicked 

🏆 19. What’s more important to you: visual design, unique personality, a trendy character aesthetic, etc? If you’re not sure, then what’s the first thing you usually nail down in a character?

I appreciate all these details and I think a great character has all these, but in general I respect the way the character is handled and nailed down first and foremost. In my books a pretty design or anything else can’t save a terribly written character, but strong writing can keep an otherwise dull/boring seeming character interesting. 

It’s just a personal value though, and I don’t expect other people to agree with me necessarily! And honestly people make characters for very different reasons, so I usually don’t really judge characters unless they are, like, a part of an actually published series or something. What people do with their free time stuff they do for themselves is hardly my concern nor my place to really complain or judge.

1: when you have cereal, do you have more milk than cereal or more cereal than milk?Cereal, I don’t really like milk. 

3: what random objects do you use to bookmark your books?I already answered this, but whatever. I use anything that is near to me. Usually it’s just some paper.

9: do you like singing/humming to yourself?Yes, but usually my singing sounds so terrible that I just stop. :D

12: what's your favorite planet?Venus.

17: what color do you really want to dye your hair?White.

20: what's your favorite eye color?Green. Or greyish blue.

28: sunrise or sunset?Sunset.

Ok. So this was that picture I was talking about last week. I watched some Yandere simulator let’s play and couldn’t help myself thinking about these two.  @barabanda as poor little senpai and @trashystormpilot as poor little school girl. (and some reason she has no legs)
