Things weren't much better for Kenneth and Barb.

Barb: Now we're finished with school, I think it's time we call things off. You clearly want other things. Kenneth: What do you mean? I don't get it! Barb: I can't be your long term, long distance, low commitment, casual girlfriend anymore. I've met someone who isn't just using me. Kenneth: I can't live without you! Barb: You'll have to. I'm moving to Sulani to be with Blaine.

Barb had hoped they could end things and stay friends, but apparently Kenneth wasn't quite ready to admit to who he was. Barb didn't have the time or patience to help him either.

Ken: Barb, you are so hot and I want to go to second base so the football team stop giving me a hard time. Will you go to prom with me?

For a split second, Barb looked horrified, but she hitched her smile up her face and raised her voice. Barb: Of course I will my baby sweetheart! Oh my gosh you always know the sweetest things to say!

Ken grinned stupidly.

Barb: *hissing* I swear to Watcher, Ken....smile! Smile for everyone! That's right! Best boyfriend ever! Go me!

Their final period was art class and Naomi was in hell.

Barb: My baby sweetheart Ken is going to prompose to me! He's going to do it with the most beautiful sign in the hallway in front of everyone! I just know it! Naomi: Are you making the sign for him?
