Would you add Barbara Benedetti Doctor? She is not official, but as far as I know she was the first female Doctor on screen, even though those were just fan movies. And she is pretty cute!

When I was coming up with TSD, I told myself "no fan films" as I was worried it would make the list too long.

But. After reading this ask and looking her up, I have to say

I love her!

So now I'm conflicted. Because if I include her, I have to include other fan made Doctors too, right?

So, I'll leave it up to you, the voters

What should I do?

Add as many fan made Doctors as you can find

Only add ones who are nominated

Give them their own tournament

Barbara Benedetti Doctor Appreciation

Tomorrow will mark the 40th Anniversary of the debut of Barbara Benedetti's version of the Seventh Doctor. Although she only appeared in unofficial fan films by Seattle International Films; she was the first woman to ever play the Doctor.

Her performance is so good, I'd happily consider her incarnation as canonical (albeit parallel).

gotta say, the most delightful thing about my Doctor Who survey is when people just casually drop in a new mindblowing incarnation for me to go down the rabbit hole with.

Just found out that Barbara Benedetti was the first non-parody (but non-official) female Doctor incarnation, from 1984 from the Seattle International Films series of 4 Doctor who films.
