Hey so I got this letter from my states representative Barbara Comstock and it is thanking me for contacting her and saying hey don't vote for the net neutrality repeal. Now this letter to be perfectly clear is just straight up bull shit and an insult to my intelligence which I know isn't something I overflow with but still. I knew this letter was bull as soon as I read the line " I am committed to ensuring the internet remains a level playing field.". I pretty much get told this sob story about how the poor internet providers (specifically the "small" ones) are losing so much money the way things are now and that they can't afford the resources to improve the infrastructure of the internet. Now this blatant bull shit annoyed me but what pisses me completely off is that this so called "representative of the people" claims that rural and low income areas have been hurt by how the internet is run now and would benefit more from the repeal. I don't know how she can say that they need internet to develope and thrive and then go on to defend it knowing full well that if repealed most of these people probably won't be able to afford internet after it all. So if your in the northern Virginia area like me please give her a call and continuously express your disagreement with her decision to repeal net neutrality which while not directly stated is pretty obvious to see from this letter.

Video: Former Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA10), Who Was a Fierce Republican/Conservative for Many Years, Says She’s Voting for Kamala Harris for President!
It’s very impressive to see this endorsement of Kamala Harris by former Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA10), who was a fiercely partisan Republican warrior for many years. That includes having “served as chief investigative counsel and senior counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Government Reform from 1995 to 1999, working as one of Washington’s most prominent anti-Clinton opposition researchers”; working for the George W. Bush campaign in 2000, including helping put together “massive stores of paper and electronic data, known as ‘The Gore File’, that were a key source of information on the former vice president for GOP publicists and ad-makers”; voting 97.8% of the time with Trump; etc.).
Given that background, nobody can even semi-plausibly argue that Comstock hasn’t been a conservative and loyal Republican for most of her adult life. The big question is, why are there so few Republicans like Barbara Comstock (and Denver Riggleman, Joe Walsh, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, etc.) out there? What does it say, for instance, about Glenn Youngkin and Jen Kiggans that they’ve 100% thrown in their lots with a wannabe dictator, scumbag, felon, traitor, insurrectionist, misogynist, racist, etc. such as Donald Trump??? Why are there so few people of principle and courage in the Republican Party these days?!? It’s really, really disturbing – and should never be forgotten or forgiven.
With that, here’s what former Rep. Barbara Comstock had to say in endorsing Kamala Harris for president!
“This time, I think it’s very important, after January 6, after what Donald Trump refused for four years to acknowledge that he lost and his threats against democracy. I think it’s important to turn the page and that’s why I will be voting for the vice president.”
How to Beat Trump in 2024
How to Beat Trump in 2024
Let’s assume Donald Trump runs again for president in 2024. Yes, I know, caveats, caveats. Republicans say it’s too early to discuss ’24. A lot can change between now and then. Maybe Trump won’t actually run. Maybe he’s just teasing the possibility to milk the attention. Apparently, he likes attention. But if Trump does decide to inflict himself on another race, he will enter as the clear…

Donald Trump "is not the future" of the GOP, Virginia Republican Barbara Comstock wrote in a damning opinion essay for The New York Times.
Republicans must authorize an investigation of Jan. 6. Otherwise they enable Trump, feed QAnon and allow the threat of violence to continue.
Republicans would be better advised to fight like Senator Margaret Chase Smith. During the Joseph McCarthy era in 1950, she advised fellow Republicans that the Democrats had already provided Republicans with sufficient campaign issues, and they need not resort to McCarthy’s demagogy.
The same is true today. Republicans need to have more faith in their policies and stop being afraid of a dangerous and diminished man who has divided the country and now divides our party. Reconsider the commission, let the investigation go ahead, and run and win in 2022 on the truth.
