Song rec of the day (in a series that certainly doesn't have daily recommendations)! It's a French song we've spent some time tracking down, and certainly is worth it. It focuses on capturing the emotions of the lyrics, with swelling intensity and suspense in a style more reminiscent of a ballad or Edith Piaf's songs. I'm recommending this live version over the standard recorded one as I find it does a better job capturing the emotion of the song.
If you don't know french I'd recommend reading some translations 1 2 (as depending on how you translate it some parts can differ slightly in nuance).

That said it's a very well sung song#It's another song I can associate with Akechi. Specifically:#“Aimez moi comme on aime un ami qui s'en va pour toujours. First quote is roughly:#“Love me as we love a friend who's gone forever. I want to be loved by others as I couldn't learn to love myself/who I am/the shape of me”#The second one is a slight alteration of the chorus with the only change really being the line about fury. Roughly translates to:#“ Here I am even as I'm stripped bare it's over. Here I am in the noise and in the rage too. Look at me finally. and my eyes and my hands”#“All I am/have is here. It's my face. It's my cry/scream.”#Plus the line “Ça m'sauvera peut-être pas. non” (It might not save me. no“) before the ”love me like a friend that's gone“.#It's very pretty lyricism.
