very sad we didn’t get any Actual Marianne but I’m very compelled by seeing her picture in the Gemini Process Manual.
Like okay so she’s almost definitely a clone of the Secretary right. They look SO similar and in fact I remember seeing ppl argue if they were played by the same actress. And she’s an imperfect copy which is why she’s blind and her personality is notably more Sweet And Nice.
Maybe they were trying to double up on Secretary types for More Authority and when she came out “wrong” they were like ohh fuck ummmm let’s make this one sing instead.
And that takes me to her rivalry with Sylvia — who’s more decorated and thus probably older / more experienced than Marianne, but Marianne’s the one who gets all the attention (possibly being one of the first clones made, so there’s a certain novelty to it? And why she’s not an exact perfect copy) so Sylvia HATES her.

I really can’t decide on if I think Marianne & Sylvia are sisters or if they’re completely unrelated… it truly could go either way and still be an interesting dynamic. but i really can’t decide on what I believe
